Nicole was the lead singer for the jump-blues band, Indigo Swing (later known as "Indigo") during the swing resurgence of the late '90s/early 2000's. Replacing original lead vocalist Johnny Boyd, she joined the well-established group and immediately began touring nationally with them. The band traveled the U.S. and Europe headlining concert venues and festivals and performed with the Grammy Award-winning Brian Setzer and his orchestra. The group disbanded in 2002.
