- Mike Verdrengh was born on January 27, 1946 in Leuven, Flanders, Belgium. He is an actor, known for De Rodenburgs (2009), Salamandre (2012) and Spitsbroers (2015).
- He also starred (he had the leading role) in the Flemish youth fiction series 'Keromar' ( 1971).
- After several presenter jobs he left the public television BRT at the end of 1988.
- He presented several TV programs, such as Spel zonder Grenzen = Jeux sans Frontières (It's a Knockout) , the quiz Dubbel Dobbel (Double Dice ) and the Eurovision Song Contest.
- He toured about 10 years together with Zaki ( Jackie Dewaele) and their Mike And Zaki Show International.
- He hosted the programmes Binnen en Buiten (1973) and Hotel Américain (1983) and his talk shows Met Mike in zee (1984) and Mike (1986).
