Pilar Vela is a Spanish actress who gained recognition during the 1960s and 1970s for her work in Spanish cinema and television. She emerged in the Spanish film industry with her appearance in the spy thriller "Residencia para espías" (1966), establishing herself as a capable performer in popular genre productions of the era. Her most internationally significant role came through her participation in Luis Buñuel's acclaimed drama "Tristana" (1970), which starred Catherine Deneuve and Fernando Rey.
