For 90s kids, Shaktimaan is not a show but an emotion. Apart from entertaining the audience with interesting plots and characters, the show also taught good values. It was a cult in Indian television history, and time and again, there had been speculations of the show’s season 2. Recently, Vaishnavi Macdonald made an interesting revelation that the second season was supposed to take off, but it never happened.

Mukesh Khanna produced the iconic Indian superhero show and played the titular character. His portrayal went down as one of the most legendary and popular characters in the history of Indian television. We have often seen him talking about the show and its influence on the audience. Even after so many years, he’s passionate about his creation, and now, he’s looking forward to bringing the character to the big screen.

Visually-impaired ‘Indian Idol’ contestant Menuka Poudel to sing for ‘Karma Meets Kismet’

Menuka Poudel, the visually-impaired contestant from the singing reality show ‘Indian Idol 14’, who sang ‘Aye Ishq Tujhko Salaam’, is now roped in for ‘Karmaa Meets Kismet’, another project as a playback singer starring Sanjay Mishra.

Helmed by writer-director Geetanjalli Sinha, the film also stars Farida Jalal, Alka Amin, Vaishnavi MacDonald, Amman Khann and Nupur Sharma. The film also features songs by Sonu Nigam and Sadhana Sargam.

Sharing her experience singing the song, Menuka said: “I am deeply moved by the love and blessings that seem to have paved this beautiful path for me. Being a part of this enriching movie has been an immense blessing, and its story has profoundly inspired me. This romantic Sufi song is a masterpiece that goes straight to the heart, reminding us of love in its purest form.”
