Biography

Pauline Turner is a Scottish actress, born in Dumbarton in 1972. Known for her role as Mary Graham in Martin Chuzzlewit (1994), Annie Hartridge in Goodnight Mister Tom (1998), June Begbie in T2 Trainspotting (2017) and Frances in Peaky Blinders (2017-2021). She also features in factual-based dramas, Des (2020) and Danny Boy (2021). Pauline trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, graduating in 1992. She received a nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress, Non-Resident Production at the Helen Hayes Awards 2002, for her performance in Shared Experience's production of Mill on the Floss. Pauline is married to the actor, Jason Cheater. They have one son, Jack.
