Biography

As a person, I'm unique - I mean there's no other 'me' in the world - so if I can put myself into the movie, the movie will become unique too.

Fan Chan opened the door for me - for all of us in that movie. It allowed me to move on as a filmmaker and do what I want to do, but I never forget that there are people who've invested a lot of money for me to make this movie. I'd say there's an equilibrium point between what I want to do and what requires to make some money back. That's the idea.
