Nadya Todorova was born on November 1, 1925 in Asenovgrad, Bulgaria. She did not become actress immediately. As a child Nadya wanted to become a ballerina. After graduating from high school, she recorded in Law from Sofia University.During the vacation after the first year she saw an ad in Asenovgrad that will be held examination for actors for the municipal theater in the city. She began her career in the municipal theater in Asenovgrad, then director Luben Groys invited her in Smolyan, then she continued to play in the theaters in Pazardzhik, Sliven, Gabrovo. She did not have vocational training, but has enormous talent. Her cinema debut takes place in 1974 in the movie " Tough Love ", directed by Ivan Andonov. Nadia Todorova starred in over 40 Bulgarian films. After playing with Kosta Tsonev in the "Year of Mondays,& #x22; he called her "The greatest actress of the small roles" and Bulgarian Anna Magnani. She plays with disarming naturalness and spontaneity. Most often she worked with the director Ivan Andonov. He said that she was in his column "favorite artists". She admitted that Ivan Andonov is her godfather in the cinema. After "Fairy Dance", Nadya played in 9 more his films: "Roof", "Cherry Garden", "Shining Example", "Ladies Choice", "White Magic", "Dangerous Charm", "Dreamer", "Yesterday", "Rio Adio." Besides Ivan Andonov, Nadya starred in the movies of other Bulgarian directors: in "Illusion", directed by Ludmil Staykov, "With Love and Tenderness" and "Where Are You Going?", directed by Rangel Vulchanov, "Double" and "Master for a Day", directed by Nikolai Volev, "In the name of the people," "War of the Hedgehogs" and "Carnival", directed by Ivanka Grabcheva. Among her films are also " Notes on Bulgarian Uprisings ", " Daughter in Law ". She has a daughter, named Antoaneta Nikolova Temenugova, who worked as a restorer in Prague , Czech Republic . In 2005 Bulgarian National Television has made a documentary about Nadya Todorova - "Smart Village". On February 28, 2009 "the great actress of small roles" remained widow. A year later, on March 3, 2010, on TV "Europe" was shown the film about Nadya Todorova, titled "The great actress of the small roles." Nadya Todorova died after a long illness on June 21, 2016 in Prague, Czech Republic
