David E. Tolchinsky is the founding director of Northwestern University's MFA in Writing for Screen and Stage program and current director of Northwestern University's Pritzker Pucker Studio Lab for the Promotion of Mental Health via Cinematic Arts. He is a longtime screenwriter (for various Hollywood studios) and sound designer/composer, as well as a playwright, director, and producer.
