Eileen Thorndike(1891-1954)

Stage Director, and younger sister of Dame Sybil Thorndike and Russell Thorndike. A fourth sibling Francis Herbert Thorndike (1894-1917) died as a pilot in the war. Her children were John, Phyllis, Elizabeth, and Sybil Ewbank. She is also a cousin of actress Brenda Dunrich, whose mother was a Thorndike.
