Tony Tetzlaff was active as an actress till to her death. Among others she appeared at the Berliner Bühne der Jugend.

She joined the film business in 1915 as an established stage actress and her first movie was "Der Hermelinmantel" (1915). She became established in the silent film as well.

The actress Tony Tetzlaff followed in her father's footsteps who was an actor and director at the theater. He gave his daughter acting lessons and Tony Tetzlaff already made her stage debut in 1887 in Salzburg. In the next years she appeared at different theaters in Germany like Stuttgart, Hamburg and Berlin as well as in Russia in St. Petersburg.

Tony Tetzlaff remained true to the theater during the 20's and she also played many roles on stages.
