Mar Targarona (Barcelona March 30, 1953). She studied drama at the Theatre Institute of Barcelona and later in the National Theater of Strasbourg.

In 1976 he joined the company Dagoll Dagom. Mar worked with the company in the works "Will not talk in class" and the hit "Antaviana". In 1985 he left his career as an actoress and began her career in the advertising world working as a casting director and assistant director production until eventually become director.

In 1990 he founded together with her husband producer Joaquin Padro Rodar y Rodar. In the beginning Rodar y Rodar was engaged in commercial production. It is the only producer in Spain so far in taking the Golden Lion at the Cannes Advertising Festival, the most prestigious award in the industry. In 1994 Joaquin and Mar founded the Taller de Guionistas, a school for learning script writing. Today it is a recognized master of the University of Barcelona. In 1995, directs and co-writes with Montse Abbad, the comedy "Die my life." Firm in 2001 as a producer on the film "Vivancos III". Later Rodar y Rodar and try your luck in the world of television with his first TV-movie for TV3 "Majoria Absoluta", written and directed by Joaquim Oristrell. In 2004 Mar opera debut as prime producer of Guillem Morales "The Uninvited Guest". In 2005 hits theaters romantic comedy written and directed by Alfonso Albacete and David Menkes and starring Carmen Maura. In that same year he premiered in TVE television series with Rosa Maria Sarda, "Grandma Summer". 2007 premiered the largest project of Rodar y Rodar so far, "The Orphanage". The first film by director Juan Antonio Bayona and screenwriter Sergio G. Sanchez. A costly project dared to lift but managed to attract more than 4,300,000 spectators. A year later Mar and Joaquin lead to the big screen debut of writer Albert Espinosa, "Do not ask me to kiss you, because I'll kiss" starring Eloy Azorin. In 2008 he produced the TV-movie "The player's hands" directed by Sergio G. Sanchez, writer of "The Orphanage". In 2009 Mar again positioned behind the camera and directed the mini-series for TV3 (Catalunya Television) and TVE (Spanish Television) "Ull per ull" ("Eye for an Eye") a love story in violent anarchist Barcelona 1920s. In October 2010 the second film premiere Guillem Morales' Julia's Eyes "again starring Belén Rueda. Spanish was the second highest grossing film of that year. The following draft Rodar y Rodar was the slasher movie shot in 3D starring Amaia Salamanca Luis Fernandez, Ursula Maxi Iglesias and Corberó. Following Roll mechanics, also a new director: Sergi Vizcaino. In December 2012 premiered "The Body," the first film starring Oriol Paulo Jose Coronado, Hugo Silva and Belen Rueda. Currently Mar is working on Rodar y Rodar's new project, the comedy "Who killed Bambi?".
