Survived the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami during a holiday in Thailand (26 December 2004).

Her daughter, "Talulah", got her name from the movie, Du rififi chez les mômes (1976). Johanna first thought the child was going to be a boy, whom she was going to name "Liam".

Made her stage debut in William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at the age of 15.

Studied acting at the Södra Latins in Stockholm.

Had one daughter, Talulah Sällström (December 1, 2001-November 23, 2014), with her ex-husband Albin Sällström. She committed suicide a week before her 13rd birthday, 7 years after her mother's suicide.

Johanna and her daughter's Talulah's father Albin divorced less than a year after she was born.
