  • Is just 11 years older than Helen Mirren, who played her daughter in The Queen (2006).

  • Graduated from RADA, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
  • Was offered a cameo part in Doctor Who: The Curse Of Fenric.
  • Aunt of Nicholas Webb, she got him the job in The Punch and Judy Man (1963)
  • She made a short film (22mins) called Dancing with Patricia Kerrigan which was teamed up with the shorts Fridge and The Pen which were shown at the Edinburgh Film Festival in 1995.
  • 1966 won Spanish award for Best Foreign Actress.
  • A memorial service was held for her at St. Paul's Church, Covent Garden on 4th June 2023.
  • She starred in a 22 minute short called DancIng with Patricia Kerrigan, Jason Fleming, John Kazek and directed and written by Stevan Rimkus which was screened at the Edinburgh Film Festival in 1995.
  • She won several awards at RADA and upon graduating spent a year in the West End.
  • Won av Variety Club Award in 1958.
  • 1996/7 made a short film 'Dancing'.
  • After training at RADA she won several awards in her graduation year in the West End.
  • Her husband,Alan was a marketing executive.
  • She met her husband when she was 15 and soon after they married he gave up his practice and became a businessman.
  • She has 3 sisters.
  • A natural actor she started when 8 in a children's pantomime at her local village institute.
