Doug Sweetland is an American animator/director who helped define Pixar animation on early hits like "Toy Story", "Toy Story 2", "Monsters, Inc.", "Finding Nemo", and "Cars". He is a back-to-back Annie Award winner and his Pixar short, "Presto", was nominated for an Annie and an Oscar. His pitch, "Windy Day", launched Google's highly acclaimed VR series, "Spotlight Stories", and was granted a patent for its advances in virtual storytelling. Doug subsequently directed alongside Nick Stoller ("Forgetting Sarah Marshall", "The Muppets") to create the highly improvised, alt-comedy cult hit, "Storks". Doug continues his work as a creator in emerging tech. For freelance inquiries, please visit dougsweetland.com.
