    Was best friends with fellow voice actor Tôru Furuya, who co-starred with him in several productions. Ironically, Suzuoki felt that Furuya's character Yamcha from Dragon Ball (1986) was closer to his own personality, rather than Suzuoki's character Tenshinhan.
