Frederick Sullivan
Frederick Sullivan was the nephew of composer Sir Arthur Sullivan of Gilbert & Sullivan fame. His father was Sir Arthur's older brother Frederic Thomas Sullivan (1837-1877) On Frederick's death Sir Arthur stepped in and helped support Frederick's widow and raise the family of 8 children. The movie actor's actual name was Frederic Richard Sullivan. He was known as Dickie in the family. Fredric was the only other member of the family who went into show business. In 1902 he married Kate Webb.
