Born in Germany but more well known in Italy, where she started a successful film career in the mid 1960s.

Is famous for being the blonde girl in the first campaign for Peroni Beer (Birra Peroni), a very popular Italian beer brand.

After her film career ended, she became politically active. She was a member of the Commission of European Women under President Craxi's period.

A candidate in Italy to the European Parliament for the right-wing Alleanza Nazionale party. (May 2004)
