- Markus Stromiedel was born in Bremerhaven, Germany. In a former life a journalist and film scholar, he jumped into the film business and founded the series development department of Bavaria Film. As head writer, creative producer and writing producer, he supervised several productions and also developed several well-known TV characters as creator and author.
