He started 99 Grands Prix, 27 Wins, 17 Pole Positions, 15 Fastests Laps, 43 Podiums and 360 Points.
  • 1999 Formula 1 Season, Rubens Barrichello started pole position at the French Grand Prix and Johnny Herbert won at the European Grand Prix at the Nurburgring. Rubens Barrichello took three 3rd places, pole, and briefly led his home race at Interlagos.
  • In 1997 Stewart returned to Formula One, with Stewart Grand Prix, as a team owner in partnership with his son, Paul. The only success of their first year came at the rain-affected Monaco Grand Prix where Rubens Barrichello finished an impressive 2nd place.
  • Stewart came fourth in the Constructors Championship beating teams such as Williams and Benetton. The team was later bought by Ford and became Jaguar Racing in 2000.
  • Jackie Stewart won a clay pigeon shooting competition when he was 13 years old and went on to become a prize-winning member of the Scottish shooting team, competing both in the UK and abroad. He won the British, Irish, Welsh, and Scottish skeet shooting championships, as well as two "Coupe de Nations" European championships. He competed for a spot on the British trap shooting team at the 1960 Summer Olympics, but finished third to Joseph Wheater and Brett Huthart.
