  • Daughter of Ann Sothern and Robert Sterling.
  • Later became a florist and designer in the Sun Valley, Idaho, area, and today only infrequently appears in films. Has one daughter, Heidi Bates Hogan.
  • Debuted on the cover of Seventeen magazine with Troy Donahue in June 1962, then soloed for the May 1963 issue.
  • Richard Egan was her godfather.
  • Stepdaughter of Anne Jeffreys.
  • Her aunt was singer/songwriter Bonnie Lake, who wrote such standards as "Sandman," "I've Got Your Number," and "Gracias.".
  • In the film Les baleines du mois d'août (1987) she played the same character as her mother, Ann Sothern, in flashbacks as a younger woman--named Tisha.
  • Gave birth to her only child at age 21, daughter Heidi Kristen Baum, on March 3, 1966. Child's father is her husband, Lal Baum.
  • At 19 she and Danny Lockin, who later played Barnaby in the film version of Hello, Dolly! (1969), screen-tested for the part of Liesl and Rolf in the movie blockbuster La Mélodie du bonheur (1965), eventually losing out to Charmian Carr and Daniel Truhitte.
  • Was to co-star with Margaret Leighton in the Broadway play "The Chinese Prime Minister" in 1964, but was fired during the tryouts for being too young to play a sexy nymphet.
  • Speaking with Hugh Downs on his program 'Over Easy' in 1978 Tisha said she was diagnosed with cancer of the lymph gland and was expected to die within a year. An operation saved her life.
