Sigfrit Steiner was born on 31 October 1906 in Basel, Switzerland. He was an actor and director, known for Le train de Berlin est arrêté (1963), Der Mond is nur a nackerte Kugel (1981) and La cible étoilée (1978). He was married to Anne-Rose Katz, Irene Mahler and Franca Erika Thoma. He died on 21 March 1988 in Munich, Bavaria, West Germany.
