George Stelzner

Award-winning executive producer George Stelzner founded West Egg Studios in 2000. The core business of West Egg is to develop and produce scripted drama formats for distribution via broadcast, cable and streaming platforms. Prior to West Egg, Stelzner was a long-time senior creative executive at Hallmark Entertainment, where he worked on the development and production of TV movies, mini-series and drama series. Upon arriving in Los Angeles, Stelzner was accepted into the training program at the William Morris Agency (now WME), where he was the assistant to the head of the West Coast television department. As a college student, Stelzner held an internship in the office of the Broadway producers Elizabeth I. McCann and Nelle Nugent, working on the productions of C.P. Taylor's Good and a revival of Alice In Wonderland, starring Kate Burton. He holds a BA degree from Hampshire College, located in Amherst, MA, and is an active member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
