In 1949, Stanton married former silent film star Kenneth Harlan. In April 1952, she and Harlan separated. In October 1955, a nightclub act is arranged for her to perform in Vegas. With her marriage in 1957 to Morton D. PInsky, she effectively ends her Hollywood career. As an actress, she is probably best known for Association criminelle (1955), The Red Skelton Show (1951), and The Phantom from 10,000 Leagues (1955).
