Daniel St. Pierre is an accomplished animation director, story artist, and production designer whose career spans feature films, television series, and groundbreaking innovations in animation technology. His storytelling expertise and visual artistry have helped shape projects for Walt Disney Feature Animation, DreamWorks, major television studios and numerous international independent studios.
He contributed to beloved classics such as The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Tarzan, where he co-developed Disney's patented Deep Canvas technology - honored with a Scientific and Technical Academy Award and an Annie Award nomination for Best Personal Achievement in Art Direction.
As a director and consultant, Daniel has guided features (Everyone's Hero, Legends of Oz, 9, Beijing Safari) and international co-productions across North America, Europe, and Asia. His versatility extends to television, with early credits on cartoon series produced by Hanna-Barbera, Filmation Studios, Rich Animation, and D.I.C. Entertainment, before expanding into feature animation and directing.
Daniel's directing bow came in 2004 when he partnered with Christopher Reeve in the production of the animated family adventure, Everyone's Hero. As Director, credits also include, Quantum Quest - A Cassini Space Odyssey, and Legends of Oz - Dorothy's Return which was honored with a, 'Best Animated Feature' nomination at the Annecy International Animation Festival in 2013.
