    • Lotte Spira was born on April 24, 1883 in Berlin, Germany. She was an actress, known for Valse d'amour (1930), Lady Windermeres Fächer (1935) and Vom Schicksal verweht (1942). She was married to Fritz Spira. She died on December 17, 1943 in Berlin, Germany.

  • Her husband Fritz Spira was murdered in a German Nazi Concentration Camp in 1943.
  • She had two daughters who became actresses too - Steffie and Camilla Spira. Because they were Half Jews their lives were in danger as well. Camilla Spira was arrested in a transit camp but Lotte Spira claimed that she was the daughter of a extra-martial affair and that her father was a Christian. So she was able to protect her from deportation.
  • Lotte Spira was married with the well-known actor Fritz Spira. Because he was a Jew the marriage was divorced by the pressure of the National Socialists. Fritz Spira fled but was arrested later and deported to a concentration camp where he was murdered.
  • She became a demanded support actress in the 30s and she appeared in front of the camera for numerous feature movies.
