Returned from LA to help finish his on-screen wife Sabine Koning's storyline on Goede tijden, slechte tijden (1990) to a good end: their characters reunited and left together. After that, he went back to LA.

Worked at Harry Klooster Casting for a year before he appeared on Goede tijden, slechte tijden (1990). Instead of being cast for a role, as usually happens, the part of Rik was written for him and originally brought to the show because Sabine Koning's character Anita needed a new man in her life.
