While she is already the most-awarded Grammy artist in history (she set that record in 2023 with her album Renaissance), she extended her record on Sunday. She won three awards during the 2025 ceremony, bringing her total number of trophies to 35.

Beyoncé also finally won album of the year for Cowboy Carter after years of being nominated for but not winning the top award. The win gets rid of her “record” as the most nominated female artist without a win in the album of the year category. Jones “passed away peacefully” at his home in Bel Air, Los Angeles, according to his publicist Arnold Robinson, as reported by Associated Press.

BBC News has issued an apology after accidentally running a photo of Viola Davis alongside a headline about Beyoncé.

During the broadcaster’s Sunday (5 February) night live coverage of the 65th Annual Grammy Awards, they showed an old Golden Globe image of Davis behind a chyron, which read: “Beyoncé’s big night.”

Immediately following the error, numerous viewers responded on Twitter, with one sharing a screenshot of the moment with the caption: “Who’s gonna tell @BBCNews?”

“I’m guessing it’s a mistake but with all their resources BBC have zero excuse for this,” a second responded.

Acknowledging their blunder, BBC News tweeted an apology on Monday (6 February).

“We apologise for the mistake last night when our news channels briefly showed a photograph of Viola Davis from January’s Golden Globes alongside a headline about Beyoncé at yesterday’s Grammys,” they wrote.

“This fell below the BBC’s usual standards.

Beyoncé broke the record for the most Grammy wins of all time for an individual artist with her win for Best Dance/Electronic Album.

Even before the televised show started, she won two awards – Best Dance/Electronic Recording for “Break My Soul” and Best Traditional R&b Performance for “Plastic Off the Sofa.” She then won Best R&b Song for “Cuff It” before breaking the record with her fourth win of the night.

Taylor Swift’s “All Too Well: The Short Film” has won the Grammy for Best Music Video at the awards ceremony on Sunday (5 February).

The 65th Grammy Awards are underway at the Crypto.com arena in Los Angeles.

Swift, who directed the 10-minute long video starring Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien, was nominated in the category alongside Adele, Harry Styles, Doja Cat, and Kendrick Lamar.

She released the re-recorded version of her 2012 album Red in November 2021.

The award marks Swift’s 12th Grammy, including her second Best Music Video win. She shared the prize with Kendrick Lamar for the visuals of their 2014 hit “Bad Blood”.

The multi-platinum-selling rapper earned five nominations, and his wife, Beyoncé, could potentially break the record for most all-time wins.

DJ Khaled will join Jay-Z on stage for a performance of their collaboration “God Did”, which snagged them three nominations this year. The nominations include the coveted awards for Best Rap Song, Song of the Year, and Best Rap Performance.

John Legend, Rick Ross, and Lil Wayne are also featured on the track, though there is no confirmation whether they will be joining the two superstars on stage.

A source confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that the rap superstar will participate in a performance of “God Did,” Jay-Z’s collaboration with DJ Khaled that is nominated for three awards, including song of the year, best rap song and best rap performance.
