Piotr Sobocinski was born on 3 February 1958 in Lódz, Lódzkie, Poland. He was a cinematographer, known for Trois couleurs: Rouge (1994), Coeurs perdus en Atlantide (2001) and Simples secrets (1996). He was married to Hanna Mikuc. He died on 26 March 2001 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
