Sherri Snyder is a Los Angeles-based actress and writer. She graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre Acting, and she has studied the Meisner technique, improvisation at iO West, and on-camera technique and scene study at Tim Phillips Studio. Her stage credits include Ann in Arthur Miller's All My Sons; Emilie in the 18th century drama Les Liaisons Dangereuses; and silent screen star Barbara La Marr in Channeling Hollywood, a Pasadena Playhouse and Pasadena Museum of History production in which five actors researched, wrote, and performed their respective characters' life stories in monologue form. When Barbara's son asked Sherri to author Barbara's biography after her Channeling Hollywood performance, she wrote Barbara La Marr: The Girl Who Was Too Beautiful for Hollywood (published by the University Press of Kentucky). She has performed a self-authored, one-woman show about Barbara in various venues for years, including at Hollywood's Egyptian Theatre, the Shakespeare Club of Pasadena, the Old Town Music Hall in El Segundo, and Hollywood Forever.
