Biography

    • Ggreg was born in San Jose, California, and raised in nearby Los Gatos. He grew up as the youngest of five children of Ralph and Nancy Snyder. After graduating from Los Gatos High School in 1981, he attended San Francisco State University and received a B.A. in Drama in 1987. In addition to acting, he has written five produced plays, material for Jay Leno's monologue, and satire for National Lampoon magazine. He also directed the 2003 production of Romeo and Juliet: The Last Battlefield, a Star Trek-inspired Shakespeare play which was documented for the Paramount film Trekkies 2. A mayven of pop culture, Ggreg's vast knowledge of cartoons and other children's programming earned him the job of Saturday Morning Geek on Comedy Central's Beat the Geeks.

    • He is also an alt.country recording artist, and has released three albums of original music on Guano Records. Among his commercials are ads for Stamps (with Bob Newhart) and Xerox. He is the other of many stage plays, including the musical "Paradise," a show about life after nuclear war, set in the early 1960s.
