3rd or 4th degree black belt in Brazilian Jiujitsu under Carlos Machado. Has also trained with other BJJ masters such as Rickson Gracie.

Huge fan of Bruce Lee and admires his positive impact on martial arts in general.

Comes from a poor family. Due to his parents divorcing, he had to move around a lot, went to different schools and experienced bullying. At the age of 9, his mother enrolled him in martial arts, which he fell in love with. Tang Soo Do was his first style.
