Brian Sloan is a WGA-nominated writer, director and producer working in film and TV for more than 20 years. His work has screened at more than 150 film festivals worldwide including Sundance, Berlin, Toronto and New Directors/New Films, as well as being commercially released in the U.S. and internationally. Brian has written and directed two features; the romantic comedy "I Think I Do" (1998), starring Alexis Arquette, Tuc Watkins ("Desperate Housewives") and Guillermo Diaz ("Scandal"), and the indie drama "WTC View" (2006), starring Michael Urie ("Ugly Betty"). He curated the "Boys Life" (1994) shorts anthology with Strand Releasing, which included his NYU thesis film "Pool Days." He was also executive producer of "Boys Life 4" (2003), for which he wrote/directed "Bumping Heads" starring Craig Chester ("Swoon," "Adam & Steve"). He was the executive producer of Brian Pera's debut feature "The Way I See Things" (2008). In 2010, he co-wrote and produced Eldar Rapaport's debut feature "August," starring Murray Bartlett (HBO's "Looking"), which premiered at the Seattle International Film Festival. He was an associate producer on the 9/11 doc "Out of the Clear Blue Sky" (2012), which debuted at the 2012 IDA Docuweeks. For TV, he co-produced and wrote for the Discovery Channel's "Cookin' In Brooklyn," and he has co-produced/directed pilots for Viacom ("Made" for CMT and "Half-Share" for Logo) and NBC/Universal ("Cobbs Ferry"). He received his undergraduate degree from Boston College, where he was an English major and Film minor, and attended NYU's prestigious graduate film program at the Tisch School of the Arts for his MFA. He lives in New York City.

      Brian Sloan attended Boston College as an undergraduate, and went to NYU Film School for his Master's Degree. He is originally from the DC area, and worked for several summers in college giving tours at Tourmobile. He grew up in a house in Kensington, MD, which belonged to Shirley Temple Black before his parents purchased it.
