It was about a village girl (Priyanka) who falls in love with a superstar actor ( Saif Ali Khan) and how she goes to the city to find him. That is when she meets Anil Kapoor.

Trivia
His debut film was to be Jab Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya in 1991. His co stars were Naseeruddin Shah and Suchitra Krishnamirthy Directed by Joy Augustine. The film was shelved after 60% of shooting.
