    • Sabine Sinjen was born on August 18, 1942 in Itzehoe, Germany. She was an actress, known for Marili (1959), Jeunes filles en uniforme (1958) and Wir - zwei (1970). She was married to Günther Huber and Peter Beauvais. She died on May 18, 1995 in Berlin, Germany.

  • Sabine Sinjen was buried in Irrsdorf/Straßwalchen, in Austria.
  • Daughter of Journalist Marlen Sinjen and sister of actress Frauke Sinjen.
  • Pretty blonde German leading actress, daughter of an engineer (father) and a journalist (mother). Discovered as a spontaneous natural talent in the New German Cinema of the late 1950's. Often cast as innocent/naive teenagers and attracted early critical attention with her performance in Jeunes filles en uniforme (1958). Much on stage in the 1960's in Berlin and Vienna (Theater in der Josefstadt). Continued to act, despite losing the sight in her right eye in 1984. She was twice awarded the prestigious Bambi (1958 and 1959) and the Deutsche Filmband in Gold in 1966.
