  • In 1950, he wrote the German lyrics of the French song "C'est si bon" which was written in 1947 by André Hornez (lyrics) and Henri Betti (music). The song was recorded by Rita Gallos.
  • Together with the composer Gerhard Winkler he soon became a successful artist for entertaining music, to his well-known songs belong among others "O Mia Bella Napoli" (1938), "Das Chianti-Lied" (1939), "C'est si bon", "Moulin Rouge", "Ich hab' noch einen Koffer in Berlin" and "Capri-Fischer".
  • Ralph Maria Siegel wrote his first film composition for "Hilde und die vier PS" (1936). Many years later followed other compositions for productions like "Die Fischerin vom Bodensee" (1956).
  • He also began his professional life as a singer when he appeared as an operetta tenor for famous locations like the Metropoltheater and the Admiralspalast.
  • Ralph Maria Siegel was alco active at the theater from 1941, first at the Theater am Gärtnerplatz and from 1946 to 1949 as director at the Neues Theater in Augsburg.
