Quotes

  • Well, they're calling it "Bombfire" in Hollywood, and they're being optimistic. Let's say you were making "Bonfire". Wouldn't you pick Bruce Willis to play an emaciated alcoholic Englishman? And who would you get to direct? Brian De Palma, a great director of horror, suspense and violence. Screenplay? The writer won a Pulitzer for a play about the terminally ill. These men are talented. You've got to be a genius to make a movie this bad...This is not just a bad movie, this is a failure of epic proportions - "Ishtar of the Vanities". One to remember, but not to see.
