Exclusive: Prime Video will scale The Summit with a host of German stars. The streamer has greenlit a German version of the adventure reality show, which sees contestants compete to ascend a mountain peak. They must safeguard backpacks, stuffed with a €1M ($1.1M) in total prize money, with the winner claiming the loot. It will be the largest cash prize ever on German TV.
The German version will feature a dozen celebs. The cast includes actor and singer Felix von Jascheroff; model, actor and DJ Giulia Siegel; model and reality TV star Cecilia Asoro; and ex-footballer Ansgar Brinkmann.
