Mort Shuman

Inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1992.
He died from cancer at a London hospital. He underwent a liver operation in spring 1991 and was hospitalized again two weeks before his death.
Was fluent in French.
He had three daughters with his wife, Maria-Pia: Barbara, Maria-Pia, and Eva-Maria.
Went to school with Neil Sedaka.
Was Doc Pomus' songwriting partner.
