    • Crystal Shaw Martell is an Actress/Writer/Producer. Singer/Songwriter. Mom/Teacher. Ms. Shaw Martell began her professional Film and Television career when moving to LA in 1981. Ms. Shaw began working, appearing on several T.V. Series and Soap Operas while doing as much theater as possible in Los Angeles and surrounding cities to satisfy her passion for acting. From about 1981-1985 Ms. Shaw appeared on many TV shows such as: 'Capitol', 'General Hospital ', 'Devlin Connection', 'Not Necessarily The News', etc. Between 1981 and 1995 Ms. Shaw appeared in several rom-coms, horror, and comedy flicks. In 1998 Ms. Shaw Martell wrote, starred in and co-produced her first short film, 'Have a Periwinkle Day' which won Best Short Film in the New York International Film Festival In 1987, Crystal Shaw created the role of Misty, in "My Best Friend's Birthday" Quentin Tarantino's first black/white project, Tarantino Directed, Edited, Starred/CoWrote/Co-Produced. Her CD 'Thank Ya Baby!' with songs written and performed by Ms. Shaw Martell, received ratings on Itunes Music Chart as #74, #83 and #84 under the category of 'Best Children's Video. Charts in 2016. New Releases. New Released for the month of December'. Considering the specificity and oblivion to such a category, the news was both unexpected, humorously, and happily received by everyone who worked on the project! Crystal now creatively lives in Studio City, Ca. , always open to new projects and ideas, while enjoying proximity to her twenty-something amazing son, her spunky and hilarious Pomeranian, and a wonderful new relationship!
