In 2001 he had two hit singles It Wasn't Me featuring Ricardo "RikRok" Ducent and Angel featuring Rayvon. All three songs peaked at number one on the U.K., U.S., and Australian billboard charts.

Said in an interview that "Boombastic" was a made-up word. "Bombastic" is a real word.

Recorded an album titled "44/876" with Sting, so named because the numbers refer to the telephone prefixes of both the UK and Jamaica. (2018)

Has three daughters from his current marriage, and two sons, from a previous relationship.
