Captain Sensible was a founding member of 'The Damned'. Originally he
was the bassist but after Brian James left he took over on lead guitar.
He has also had a successful solo career including a U.K. number one
hit with his cover version of 'Happy Talk'. He left 'The Damned' in the
mid 1980s but rejoined in 1996 and they have since recorded some new
material. They also tour extensively.
