    • Bill Scott was born on August 2, 1920 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. He was an actor and writer, known for Rocky and His Friends (1959), Hoppity Hooper (1964) and The Crazy World of Laurel and Hardy (1966). He was married to Dorothy Scott. He died on November 29, 1985 in Tujunga, California, USA.

Trivia

  • When working on the pilot for Rocky and His Friends (1959), he read the entire script to Jay Ward. Of course, he kept changing his voice for each character. After Ward approved the script, he had decided who he wanted to play each character, except Bullwinkle. When Scott asked who was going to play Bullwinkle, Ward replied "Oh, I thought you were!".
  • Served in the US Army's First Motion Picture Unit during World War II.
  • Worked for Warner Brothers, UPA, Disney and-- notably--Jay Ward Productions, as writer, co-producer and voice actor for [Rocky and His Friends (1959) (the voices of Bullwinkle and Mr. Peabody).
  • Began in animation as a gofer and washing cels for Harman-Ising at Warner Brothers.
  • Served on the board of directors and as president of ASIFA-Hollywood, the International Animated Film Society's Hollywood branch,.
