- Although starting his career as a dramatist, his is best known for his novels such as "Monsieur Ibrahim et les fleurs du Coran" (1999, "M. Ibrahim and the Flowers of Coran"), which was made into Monsieur Ibrahim et les fleurs du Coran (2003), and "Ma vie avec Mozart" (2005, "My life with Mozart").
