In 2024, after 20 years behind the camera as a producer and director Alan returned to on camera acting. Also in 2024 he is the producer and director of a 40-minute drama film "Honeysuckle" currently in post production.

Alan began his acting career in 1990 in Phoenix, Arizona performing in independent films, TV commercials, industrial training films and theatrical plays. In 1992, Alan produced and starred in the full length feature film "Twisted Fate," a psycho-thriller. Alan also donated his talent to the Maricopa County Sheriff's departments TV and Print "War On Drugs" campaign to deter casual drug use which can lead to serious drug addictions. With his face plastered on billboards all over town, police officers were constantly eye-balling Alan thinking he was a wanted criminal.

In 1996, Alan relocated to Los Angeles, California where he studied at the Beverly Hill Playhouse in the advanced class under Jeffrey Tambor and Richard Lawson. He took on-camera acting classes under Margie Haber of Margie Haber Studio and The Voicecaster, the premium voice over training studio in the USA. Alan went on to appear in numerous independent feature films, TV commercials and theatrical plays.

Alan worked for many years with graduate students of USC School of Cinematic Arts and The Los Angeles Film School, working with dozens of students to produce their graduate films. He did everything from script writing to casting, location scouting, set decoration and stunt coordination. He also performed roles in many of the films.

In 2004, Alan became Founder and President of CNK Digital, Inc. and produced and directed Looney Tunes Phonics®, a 50 hour cartoon animated interactive children's learn-to-read program. Alan negotiated the Warner Bros. licensing contract for the Looney Tunes family of characters. He co-wrote scripts with Dr. J. Ron Nelson PhD, the reading curriculum author, and he cast and directed the voice-over artists and the animation team. He wrote and produced numerous TV Commercials and long form Infomercials. Looney Tunes Phonics was sold in 4,500 Walmart stores under the brand name The EPIK Learning Tablet and generated $20 million in annual sales its last five years in distribution.

In addition to TV and film, Alan managed the first 10 years of singer songwriter Celeste Stoney's career, helping her achieve a publisher contract with Peer Music, a recording artist contract offer from Island Def Jam Records and a Platinum Record award for her performance on Ja Rule's famous song, "Murder Reigns." Alan was the Executive Producer of her first single release music video, "My Kinda Crazy".
