Exclusive: Adam Saunders and his Footprint Features have brought on Kyle Fong as the company’s Director of Development.
Fong joins from Blue Marble Pictures, where he served as Director, Content Development & Strategy, working on the Peabody Award-winning Apple TV+ drama series Pachinko, based on the international bestselling novel from Min Jin Lee. His hiring is part of Footprint’s new Studio Development Fund, which will expand the company’s ability to acquire and develop top-tier content for studios and streamers. Though Footprint will continue to produce and develop dynamic projects in the indie space, the new initiative will provide the company greater resources to expand beyond that sphere and prioritize developing studio content.
“Kyle is someone who deeply understands story, and has impeccable taste and relationships,” Saunders told Deadline. “He will play an integral part in our efforts to reach wide audiences even as we stay true to the...

The diverse soundtrack of "Civil War" elevates intense moments with modern and classic songs across different genres. The music in Civil War serves to establish a certain atmosphere while the main characters are shown driving through chaos, documenting combat, or dodging bullets from opposing sides. While an official Civil War soundtrack album isn't available to stream, A24 has released an official playlist featuring the original score and select songs from the movie on Spotify.
The wide variety of songs on Civil War's soundtrack help to establish the high-stakes atmosphere of the A24 dystopian thriller. Written and directed by Alex Garland, Civil War is set in the near future against the backdrop of an American civil war unfolding between the authoritarian government and different regional factions. Civil War follows a group of journalists as they travel from New York to D.C. to interview the President, encountering mass violence, chaos,...

"He Got Canceled, She Got Promoted." Quiver Dist. has revealed an official trailer for an indie comedy titled Dotty & Soul, marking the feature directorial debut of actor / writer / producer Adam Saunders. It's now set to launch on VOD this May if anyone is curious. A hot shot entrepreneur gets into social meida trobule with a prblematic costume. So he comes up with a plan: he will hire a 71 year old snack cart vendor, Dotty, to pose as his company's figurehead, with Ethan still managing from the wings. But when Dotty decides to no longer play the straw man, and starts expressing opinions of her own - everything changes. A throwback comedy thematically reminiscent of Trading Places, but firmly entrenched within the social media world of today, Dotty & Soul is a hilarious examination of authenticity, and how far any of us will go in our quest to become who...

At the height of a time in which “cancel culture” has found its footing throughout Hollywood, Adam Saunders asks an important and timely question in his feature-length debut, Dotty & Soul. At what point does one allow people time to learn and grow from their offensive behaviors and mistakes before ostracizing takes place? Should there be practical plans in place for people to “win back” the public if they’ve been genuine in their apologies and growth? Saunders explores the answers to these questions through Ethan Cox. After a mistake from his past becomes public, it proves to be costly for his new business venture. It’s clichéd and predictable, but Dotty & Soul is sincere in showing how people can learn from past mistakes when given time to put in the work.

Take one classic 90s action movie, featuring one of the most iconic action heroes of the decade and directed by a king of the genre. Throw in a two-decade wait and a British action star who is almost single-handedly keeping the old-school Dtv vibe alive (and doing a damn good job of it may I add); and you have Hard Target 2.
Twenty-three years. Has it really been that long? I remember the hype around John Woo’s Hard Target – you couldn’t pick up an issue of Impact Magazine for a least a year beforehand without some mention of the film amongst its pages. It’s actually very surprising that we didn’t get a sequel sooner.

Producer Steve Jaggi is convinced audiences are hankering for films with positive, joyful themes, an antidote to the dark subjects often favoured by filmmakers.
Putting his money where his mouth is, Jaggi launched The Incubator last year through his Indefatigable Pictures banner to develop and produce life-affirming films.
The first three projects to benefit from that initiative are either completed or in post. All are from first-time filmmakers, part of Jaggi.s plan to help foster the international careers of Australian creatives.
Based on a true story, Skin Deep is the saga of a young woman who is diagnosed with terminal melanoma and meets a stranger who gives her the courage to embrace life. The screenplay is by Monica Zanetti, who had melanoma. Rosie Lourde is the producer and the director is Jonnie Leahy. Zara Zoe plays the protagonist and Zanetti portrays the stranger.

Even if all the Wall Street stock trading lingo was a little hard to follow at times, and there were some glaring nudges at the Occupy movement, this episode proved that Person Of Interest (TV) is masterful at weaving over-arching plots together for some loyal viewer payoffs. Because while this episode is written around a Wall Street hot shot with a conscience, the ending ties into a couple of former episodes *and* brings back an old foe. Finch (Michael Emerson) is truly a jack of all trades in his own right, and even dabbles in some suit tailoring! Because while Reese's (James Caviezel) every-day crime fighting suit is okay, it's not Wall Street chic. And of course, when Reese cleans up, he cleans up *well*. Yowza. The Number of the week is Adam Saunders (Matt Lauria), a young prop. trades hot shot living the fast and furious life of high risk stocks,...

I'd been wondering when Person of Interest was going to bring back criminal mob boss, Elias.
It's exciting because it reignites the possibility of Reese and Finch's larger enemy. The seeds have certainly been planted for a variety of bad guys - from the elusive Root to Reese's CIA hunters - but Elias set the stage for the bigger recurring problem. Does that mean that the show will delve deeper into Elias' character and his own story arc or will we not get to see him for another few episodes?
As is the case most weeks, the endings have really given that kick that adds to the show's excitement, and seeing Elias with a perfect grin on his face was a fantastic way to conclude the hour. Sure, I wish there was more for him to have actually done in regard to the overall story, but the reunited possibility of...
