Actor Jordi Vilasuso knows his way around a soap opera set. After all, the actor has been on a number of daytime dramas over the years, from Guiding Light (ex-Tony Santos) to All My Children (ex-Griffin Castillo) to more recently Days of Our Lives (ex-Dario Hernandez), and Young and the Restless (ex-Rey Rosales).

He recently signed on to join The Bay, a web series, and from the sounds of it, he’s super pumped about what’s in store for his new character.

Soap vet Jordi Vilasuso has joined the cast of “The Bay” in the role of Justin Ramos, a character previously portrayed by David Lago (“The Young and the Restless”), reports Soap Hub.

“I have known about ‘The Bay’ for years and have met Gregori [J. Martin, executive producer] throughout my career. When he asked me to join the show as [the new] Justin Ramos, I was thrilled. Having the chance to work with A Martinez again and the rest of the incredible cast is exciting,” said Vilauso in a statement to the outlet.

“I have known Jordi for a while and have always loved his work. I am grateful to have him join the show as Justin,” Gregori said.

Vilasuso will first appear during the show’s ninth season, which is set for release later this year. The character has not been seen since season five.
