Robert Nemiroff and Charlotte Zaltzberg wrote the book. Judd Woldin was composer. Robert Brittain was lyricist. Based on the play by Lorraine Hansberry. Robert U. Taylor was set designer. Bernard Johnson was costume designer. Donald McKayle was choreographer and director. Robert Nemiroff was also producer.
  • (May 5 to June 5, 1988) He played Father in John Bunzel's play, "Death of a Buick," at the Pasadena Playhouse in Pasadena, California with Betsy Palmer (Mother); Scott Burkholder and Xander Berkeley in the cast. Steven Keats was director.
