Samar Sami

Samar Sami is a versatile actress in Syrian indie films and TV since 2010. She studied French Literature at Aleppo University while performing in underground theaters. She debuted in indie film Broken Mirrors (2012), later starring in socially critical dramas like Cry of the Land (2018). She Founded Damascus' Actors Without Borders workshop for marginalized youth.
