Aleksandr Samulekin was born on 11 January 1930 in Beryozky, Byelorus, USSR. He was a production designer and set decorator, known for Kin-dza-dza! (1986), Esclave de l'amour (1976) and Soleil trompeur (1994). He died on 22 September 2006.
