Tony Salome

Tony has worked in the entertainment industry for over 50 years and started his career as an actor after graduating from Pennsylvania State University with a BA in Theatre Arts. His first professional job was as a singing waiter in the Pocono Mountains.

As an actor, he has been featured in numerous award winning commercials, feature and TV productions including "Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight", "Wildcats" with Goldie Hawn, "Joe Versus the Volcano" with Tom Hanks, "UHF" with Weird Al Yankovic, and "Life Goes On". Current member of SAG-AFTRA and former member of American Guild of Musical Artists and American Guild of Variety Artists. Tony shared in the 1992 Los Angeles Drama-Logue Award for "Best Production of the Year" as an actor in the World Premiere of "Spaghetti and Apple Pie" at the Group Repertory Theatre in North Hollywood. He recently returned to the stage after a 20 year hiatus when he worked in film & TV production.

He began working as location manager in 1986 scouting IMAX Films for MacGillivray Freeman Films. Shortly thereafter he was hired to work on his first feature film "Tremors" with Kevin Bacon. Past member of Local 399 Steering Committee and the LMGI Board of Directors where he launched the 1st Annual LMGI Awards. Nominated for a 2015 LMGI Award, winner of the 2010 California On Location Award for Location Team of the Year for "NCIS: Los Angeles", and winner of the 2004 COLA as Location Professional of the Year for "24". He worked on the critically acclaimed feature "Bobby" directed by Emilio Estevez and had the honor of being part of the last production to film at the famed Ambassador Hotel.
